INF file extension for a plain text file

INF may be a file extension for a clear document employed by Microsoft Windows for the installation of code and drivers, conjointly stated as a Setup info file. The INF file contains numerous sections that specify the files to be traced, changes to the written registry. etc.



Below is the steps on how to install the .inf file







Go to device manager and click to expend Network Adapters, then right click Broadcom driver choose Update Driver Software :










Click on Browse my computer for driver software







Then when it asks for the driver, point it towards the folder that contains the .inf file and click next.
That’s all it will proceed to install the device driver. 
















The normal technique to put in a .inf file is to right click thereon and choose Install from the context menu. However, it is also doable to put in from the instruction. The syntax is:

C:\> rundll32 syssetup,SetupInfObjectInstallAction DefaultInstall 128 .\.inf
